I think CD is more or less at the end of its livecycle, most PCs sold today don’t even have a cd drive anymore.
Try to make it work with a free account (zotify for example works with a free account no problem).
Then you don’t have to worry about that.
In the other side, there have been zero reports of people getting banned when using zotify.
Make sure your system does not go to sleep. It should run fine. I had no problems even after literally thousands of files.

Has not been an issue for me for hundreds of audiobook chapters… sometimes I need to start it again, but as it skips already downloaded files it has not been an issue.
