Living in a major city where we have a Amazon warehouse, I cancelled prime because they failed their promise on two day shipping. 2021-2023, I started seeing packages take as long as 5 days. Now, half my orders take that long. What is the point of that’s the whole ad pitch?
To be clear, when a developer submits a finished game for publication, it’s supposed to reveal all of its cheat codes, but this particular one was never disclosed for the simple reason that Sony would’ve undoubtedly kicked it back to development for removal. Apparently, Piper isn’t too worried about letting his secret out into the wild more than two decades later.
There’s a bunch of debug/dev features hidden in production software that I stay quiet with from companies i worked for. Revealing them would probably make me unemployable. Or worse, slapped with a lawsuit.
So I’m glad this guy was probably retiring or switching careers.
Omg literally capitalism
5 downloads a day is pretty generous as I used them four times in my life for my pirated movies.
Most of those use cases are untraceable.
But there’s some things you shouldn’t pirate. I was a freelance developer for a company. They hired another set of freelancers who used stock photos and music, but didn’t have the proper licenses. Had legal papers sent their way.
I learned about it because the company started demanding I provide all the proper licensing of my code and the libs I used. I have no idea what the details are or what happened. But they were pretty freaked out.
Seriously. Op chose hard mode on their first try.
It helps that they aren’t struggling to keep the lights on.
You can’t really do what you want if youre constantly worried if you can pay bills. Same for people, same for companies.
OP really is furious at this imaginary battle in their head they’re spamming a bunch of places
Every time questions like this get asked, I get interested in seeing if it’s possible and try to get a proof of concept out. I wonder how many people are like me.
I absolutely loved the idea of Game Pass. I had it for two years. I actually stopped buying Steam games.
I was annoyed of their whole file structure (like it’s extremely difficult to move saves from a PC Game Pass game to a Steam/Epic Game). It’s using some weird Windows DRM and has constant connection issues with the Microsoft server. But the value was good and I accepted that hiccup.
After the Steam Deck dropped, I quit PC Game Pass.
As a busy parent, Steam Deck is way too convenient and the future of PC gaming is portability. And once the Steam Deck reaches critical mass, if PC Game Pass isn’t on there, it’ll be the Bing of gaming and play second fiddle.
I mean it already happens in my industry. I absolutely choose who I work for, or based on their reputation, ensure I get compensated and control.
The indie game industry is pretty inexperienced overall, and publishers do take advantage of that.
